3. While not checking in with Mary, please schedule interviews, look for sources, think about hyperlinks, etc.

Day 9: News Briefs due; work on profiles

1. All briefs should be uploaded before class. Henry edits!
2. Staffers work on profiles. Due at end of class, both in print to Eugenie and emailed to Mary.

Second draft of article due on Tuesday.

Day 8: uploading, checking-in & working on profiles

Review: How do you upload an article/brief? All drafts go to gmail account via google docs. Make sure you write briefs in google docs OR directly into a post. Submit for review when done and graphic is uploaded.

Check-in: how were other interviews? How is the progress? Any questions on briefs?

Write: Continue to work on your peer profile. Due at close of class period on Friday. Double spaced. Handed in to Eugenie.

Day 7: Article check-ins, interview recaps, and more!

1. Review of interviews. How do you know what's good information versus useless information? What can we learn from each other?
2. Class discussion: Checking in about articles and what interviews you need to get? Who are the experts? What groups need a voice?
3. Peer profiles (see handout). Interview and write. This is an in-class activity, so no need to complete today. Goal is to complete by Friday Sept 18. You will need to submit a graphic or photo with this piece.
