Goal for staff: Make each day your masterpiece. You have to apply yourself each day to becoming a little better. By applying yourself to the task of becoming a little better each and every day over a period of time, you will become a lot better. Only then will you be able to approach being the best you can be.

Goal for editors & advisor: Define success for those under your leadership as total commitment and effort to the team's welfare. Then show it yourself with your own effort and performance. Most of those you lead will do the same. Those who don't should be encouraged to look for a new team. — John Wooden

Top three reads

Survey: Alcohol Use Down, Pot Up as School Outpaces Nation: http://www.bestofsno.com/7433/showcase/survey-alcohol-use-down-pot-up-as-school-outpaces-nation/

Top five for MA
Accutane: Worth the Risks?: http://www.bestofsno.com/7756/health/accutane-worth-the-risks/. This article idea would work for MA because Accutane is fairly common among high school students. I personally know of several MA students who have taken or thought about taking Accutane.

Eating Disorders More Common Than You Think: http://www.bestofsno.com/7212/showcase/eating-disorders-more-common-than-you-think/. This article idea could be applicable to MA as its student body is subject to such disorders as high school students.

Too Young For R?: http://www.bestofsno.com/668/opinions/too-young-for-r/. This article idea would be applicable to freshman and sophomores. I’d be curious to hear the faculty and staff opinion because they are adults, teachers and some are parents.

A New App to Stop Cyberbullying: http://www.bestofsno.com/7607/showcase/a-new-app-to-stop-cyberbullying/. This works because the MA student body is the age demographic which this applies to.

Move Body, Activate Mind: http://www.bestofsno.com/7441/health/move-body-activate-mind/. It would be interesting to see if any teachers at MA have preformed any experiments on their classes.

Infographics
http://www.phsoutlook.com/3590/sports/3590/ Giant infographic that lays out entire sports team lineup. We could do this for MA teams.

http://www.bestofsno.com/6537/health/videos-that-pack-a-punch/ Easy to follow graphic that contains important data. Not artistic but effective.
