Goal for staff: Make each day your masterpiece. You have to apply yourself each day to becoming a little better. By applying yourself to the task of becoming a little better each and every day over a period of time, you will become a lot better. Only then will you be able to approach being the best you can be.

Goal for editors & advisor: Define success for those under your leadership as total commitment and effort to the team's welfare. Then show it yourself with your own effort and performance. Most of those you lead will do the same. Those who don't should be encouraged to look for a new team. — John Wooden

Day 13: Briefs, article check-ins and formulating question

1. Briefs uploaded and ready to go. Do you want to change? Remain the same?
2. Check-ins about articles.

  • Flesh out guiding question. What is it you're investigating? Looking for? Looking into? -- 10 minutes to work alone and then share with class.
  • Feedback. Would you want to read that article?
  • Who are must-have interviews?

3. AP Style work as time permits.
